Operation Flank Stakes aims to safely train and reinforce learned tactics, test equipment and procedures, gain teamwork experience, and produce public outreach materials while conducting a simulated search and recovery mission to return a missing flight recorder from the encampment where it is held. A patrol critique and after-action review will be presented to capture learning gained during the operation.
A vital flight recording is missing and is currently believed to be located in a small encampment at location (TG). The specific size and armament of potential hostile forces is unknown but believed to be composed of 8-12 enemy combatants with light arms based on camp size. Recovery of the data on the device is critical to friendly forces. A light mobile squad of TZMD operatives has been detached to locate, recover the device, and practice leave-no-trace land management.

THIS IS A SIMULATED SCENARIO FOR TRAINING PURPOSES
”
TZMP will transport a TZMD armed force to the theater and serve as rapid reaction force and OFS Command & Control. Dismounted TZMD members will rally at HQ point (TO), deploy a KAZI drone to find and fix the encampment, and proceed on foot to rendezvous with ROV units.
