TZMD SAR imbedded with other teams in a multi-agency Search and Rescue exercise to locate two missing persons.

During the operation TZMD-SAR located all missing individuals as well as a deceased individual who had succumbed to stabbing injuries and blunt force trauma. After locating the first missing person and gathering additional information via victim interviews Teame members located the second missing individual who had fallen into a ravine and sustained several serious injuries.

TZ personell treated compound and simple fractures and utilized improvised materiels to fashion a slpint and package the victim for transport before extricating the missing person via backboard and litter with help from additional external agency personell. TZ members then provided drone overwatch utilizing a Kazi unit in a force protection role. Go Teame!
