Teame Zazzu Aquanauts completed Search and Recovery SCUBA dive training as part of a inter-agency training exercise

TZA SAR personnel conducted several underwater search and recovery dives executing both shore based pendulum and submerged pivot pointed based circle search patterns. Recovery divers attempted to locate a discarded firearm as part of the training scenario. TZA also utilized the Underwater Sensor Platform to enable line control, sensor mounting and pivot control.

Well, I did bring all the appropriate equipment if that helps.
Divers successfuly executed the search patterns and located the glock handgun during each of their searches. Utilizing rope communication and control as well as practicing line control and pattern execution enabled divers to practice search and recovery manuvers in a low-visibility cold water environment at a depth of approx. 35 feet. Go Teame!
