TZMP - Drone Division completed test maneuvers of Drone Division land and air based assets utilizing asymmetrical reflective transmissions to operate multiple drones simultaneously through an interdependent use of a single handheld radio device and Full Motion Video live downlink situated in seperate drone platforms.

TZMP Drone Division personnel successfully utilized 'signal reflection' techniques to control both air and land assets via one controller. Reflective transmission involves tasking the 'Kazi' UAV via electro-optical object recognition to the TZ.ROV.V.5 ground drone allowing the drone pilot to utilize the ROV's PWM wave 2.4 GHZ radio signal to control both drone assets simultaneously.


Ride it, Rove it, fly it! Use the UAV to drive the Rover & use the Rover to fly the drone... and don't stop pedaling either!
By tasking the Kazi UAV to the ground ROV the Drone operator was able to pilot both the aerial and ground drones and utilize the 1080p FMV live downlink to also pilot the ROV without direct line of sight. This technique allows the drone operator to maintain cover and concealment while utilizing the ROV in a force protection role. SNOWY GETAWAY: A weekend of winter exercises atop snowmobiles riding in formation in mountain terrain.

Mounted Patrol team members practiced safe equipment handling, winter navigation, passenger protocols, and mounted search and rescue response on snowmobiles at various speeds and inclines.


HIGH AND MIGHTY HELICOPTERS: Teame members train and drill for mission profiles including casualty medical evacuation, personnel transport, search and rescue, cargo lift, arial deployment, ground mission support, recon scouting, and forward air control.

Deployment speed, flight plan flexibility, maintenance and crew costs, and sensor package options make helicopters a key instrument for mission planning and situational response, and require Pathfinder training, pilot training, air medical training, and skydive experience.


OUTRIDERS: TZMP personnel operate from motorcycles as lead or screen convoy elements, light ground deployment elements for extended-distance reconnaissance, aerial drone retrieval, message delivery, or route clearance tasks.

Motorcycles present a low profile, high fuel economy, acceleration profile, and maneuverability, as well as possess the ability to access off-road and navigate high congestion areas. This an make motorcycles a good tool for mounted patrol missions despite a higher risk of fatality per mile travelled than other vehicles. Additional training and situational awareness is key to proper motorcycle operation.


CANOPY CONTROL: TZMP conducts regular Paraplane patrols between 500 to 1500 ft AGL, at 25-35mph. Paraplanes, or Powered Parachutes can be used for close air support reconnaissance, ground skimming operations, or STO arial light sport maneuvers

The two primary control methods are accelerating engine power to control vertical rate of climb and deflecting the trailing edge of the parachute to turn the aircraft right or left.
